[email protected] 401.375.2090 Live Music is coming to the CFP Arts and Wellness Community with an Open Mic on Oct 14th 7-9pm with a Free-Will offering, and a ticketed Holiday Extravaganza show on Dec 3rd 7-9pm. Additional evenings may also be scheduled in 2022 and then additional evenings are starting in Spring 2023. CFP has heard many requests for a regular series of live music shows, starting with the folk music genre and spreading to other types of music to attract a modern audience. A group of experienced CFP volunteers founded by Lisa Santucci and David Breton quickly picked “Music @ The Point” as the name to advertise live music nights at the CFP Arts, Wellness, and Community Center, formerly known as the CFP Hall. “Music @ The Point will offer a variety of shows on the third Friday of every month in early 2023”, said co-founder David Breton. “We are already talking to individual musicians and acoustic bands for headliner shows as well as some Community Music evenings with multiple artists present" “We have a great volunteer team to cover publicity and help organize the evenings”, said co-founder Lisa Santucci. Music @ The Point live music shows will be held at the newly renovated CFP Arts and Wellness Center located at 933 Anthony Rd, Portsmouth RI.
